Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

Djoblik connects candidates and recruiters in Algeria. This page sets out plainly what we do with your data. Our rule: your contact details are never shown to a recruiter unless you apply, and never sold.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Djoblik is published by Djoblik SARL, a limited liability company currently being registered, based in Algiers, Algeria. It is the data controller under Algerian Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of individuals in the processing of personal data.

For any question or request about your data: [email protected].

2. The data we collect

If you are a candidate:

  • your account: name, email address, password (stored encrypted, never readable), or your Google ID if you sign in with Google (we then receive only your name, email and a Google identifier, never your Google password);
  • your profile: phone, headline, wilaya and commune of residence, search area, years of experience, skills, languages, driving licences, education level, openness to remote work, and a photo if you add one;
  • your CV if you build it on Djoblik;
  • your applications and internship requests: the job, the date, the match score, the status (sent, seen, shortlisted, interview, hired, declined) and any reason given for a refusal.

If you are a recruiter: your email, encrypted password, company details, the legal proof of existence (trade register or self-employed card), the startup label certificate if you send it, your job ads, your unlocks and your balance.

For every visitor: audience measurement if you accept it (see « Cookies »), and technical security data (IP address, used only to limit abuse and not kept).

3. Why we use it

  • To compute your match score on each job, from the criteria the recruiter set. The calculation is automatic, explainable and uses no artificial intelligence: every criterion and its weight are shown on the job.
  • To deliver your applications and keep you informed of their progress, in your space and by email.
  • To let recruiters contact you, only after an unlock (see below).
  • To check that a company exists before it publishes a job.
  • To keep the service secure: limit login attempts, prevent abuse, suspend fraudulent accounts.
  • To measure site audience anonymously, if you agree.

We do not sell your data. We do not run targeted advertising.

4. What a recruiter sees of you

When you apply, the recruiter sees an anonymous profile: a profile number, your match score, your years of experience, your commune, whether you are open to remote work, any mandatory criteria you do not meet, your headline, skills, languages and education level, and, if you built your CV on Djoblik, the titles and approximate length of your jobs and the titles of your degrees. Never the names of your employers or schools, exact dates, your summary or your descriptions.

Your name, email and phone are shown only after an unlock paid for by their company. Your photo and full CV are never shown to recruiters.

Three exceptions, where your contact details are visible without an unlock: an application to an internship, an application that came through the share link the recruiter posted themselves, and an internship request you send to a company.

A « scouted » job is one published elsewhere that we list, for a company not yet on Djoblik: your application waits, and the company receives nothing until it joins Djoblik. Your space tells you so.

5. How long we keep it

  • Your account, profile and applications: as long as your account exists.
  • When you delete a candidate account: profile, CV, photo, applications and notifications are erased at once. Unlocks already paid for by companies stay on record, with no link to you.
  • When you delete a recruiter account: the account and the legal document are erased and open jobs are closed. The company's public page remains, with no account attached.
  • The log of profile views by the Djoblik team: 12 months.
  • Encrypted service backups, which may contain deleted data: 6 months at most, after which they are overwritten.

6. Who helps us run Djoblik

We rely on a few technical providers, who process your data only on our behalf:

  • OVHcloud (France): hosting of the site and database;
  • o2switch (France): sending emails and storing encrypted backups;
  • Cloudflare: delivery network and attack protection that pages pass through;
  • Google: audience measurement (Google Analytics, only with your consent), Google sign-in (if you choose it), maps on company pages (Google Maps, loaded only if you click « Show the map »), and notifying the search engine of jobs (job addresses only, no personal data).

These providers are located outside Algeria, so your data is hosted and transits abroad, mainly in Europe.

7. Cookies and storage in your browser

Cookies the service needs (the site doesn't work without them):

  • the login session, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days;
  • technical login and security cookies, and a marker lasting a few minutes that refreshes the header after you log in;
  • your language, if you change it;
  • the job you wanted to apply to before creating your account (7 days);
  • the share link of a job you arrived through, so the application is credited to the recruiter who posted it (30 days).

Audience measurement (Google Analytics): only if you accept it in the banner. Without consent, no measurement cookie is set and only anonymous signals are sent. Advertising signals are always refused. You can change your mind at any time with the « Cookies » link at the bottom of the page.

Your browser also keeps, on your device only, your cookie choice and the drafts you fill in without an account (free CV, internship request letter, HR documents). They reach us only if you use them to create an account or apply.

8. Your rights

Under Law 18-07, you can access your data, have it corrected, object to its processing and have it erased.

  • Most of this you can do yourself from your space: edit your profile, delete your account (at the bottom of « My profile »).
  • For the rest, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month at most.
  • If you believe your rights are not respected, you can refer the matter to Algeria's national personal data protection authority (ANPDP).

9. Security

Passwords are encrypted. Companies' legal documents are never public: only their owner and the verification team can open them. Every view of a candidate profile by the Djoblik team is logged. Backups are encrypted.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes too. For an important change, we let you know by email or in your space.
