The role
This permanent (CDI) junior purchasing officer position involves sourcing new suppliers and following up with existing partners according to the company's needs. You collect and compare quotes in order to select the most suitable offers, then take part in negotiating prices, lead times and purchasing terms. You prepare purchase orders, follow them through to delivery and check that the goods received are compliant. You also keep the tracking sheets and supplier data up to date. The position is based in Alger and is open to entry-level candidates.
