The role
Ferdi Supermarket, currently in its launch and growth phase, is hiring a retail buyer (GMS) based in Sétif. You will negotiate prices, discounts and commercial terms with suppliers, while selecting the products that make up the range in each department. You will calculate selling prices and margins, follow up on orders and deliveries, and handle supplier disputes. The position involves close collaboration with category managers, department heads and management.
What we expect
→Degree at Bac+3 to Bac+5 level in business, management, purchasing or management studies
→Minimum of three to five years of experience in purchasing
→Experience in large-scale retail is an asset
→Strong negotiation skills and supplier portfolio management
→Solid knowledge of price building and profitability analysis
→Good understanding of product turnover and sell-through
